We designed this oven dish with you. As always, we asked for your opinion, and over 1,200 of you shared your expectations with us. So, we analyzed each of your responses to fully understand what the perfect oven dish is for you. Ceramic or glass: you've decided on ceramic. Its format? Rectangular, just as you wanted. As for the colors, the choice was between olive green and a pretty midnight blue. So, we decided to please you and offer you these two timeless colors.
We added porcelain for better impact resistance
We didn't choose this factory at random. Specializing in ceramics for decades, they use a very specific process to improve the strength of their utensils: porcelain residue is mixed with our ceramic for better impact resistance. No more chipped dishes.
A unique design. Elegant and timeless to last for years
We collaborated with Marc Venot, our French designer, to create an elegant, practical, and timeless oven dish. One that we never tire of despite the passing of time. We then visited several factories and created dozens of prototypes before having the perfect oven dish, faithful to Marc's design. And yes, the devil is in the details: the subtle relief we imagined around the handles was ultimately very complicated to achieve given the artisanal manufacturing process. For the colors, we had to carry out around ten tests before obtaining the perfect olive green and this deep midnight blue, which will enhance each of your tables. As you can see, we have created the most beautiful and efficient design so that the compliments will rain down when you serve your guests.
Handcrafted in Portugal
A faithful reproduction of our design, each oven dish is unique thanks to its artisanal manufacturing. Its creation requires around ten steps, from preparing the mold to the hand-finished work, not forgetting drying, varnishing, and firing. In total, 15 people are needed throughout the process, and it takes no less than 4 weeks to make our oven dish. We don't often realize all the expertise required to make these utensils that end up on our tables and allow us to spend wonderful moments of conviviality.
Enamel is naturally non-stick and scratch-resistant
Starters, main courses, desserts, you can cook it all with this large oven dish. Its rectangular shape and 4L capacity allow you to create generous recipes for your large tables. We opted for ceramic because it is a natural material, which, in our opinion, has a more aesthetic and original finish than glass. Enamel also has many advantages, such as giving the dish non-stick properties, making it easier to clean, and being extremely durable. Say goodbye to chipped dishes and scratched knives. Our oven dish is oven-safe up to 250°C, freezer-safe down to -25°C, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe.
