Preordering.
It just makes sense.
Production, stock, costs, supply and demand - for a young brand, it’s always a balancing act. Our answer? Preorder. We make exactly what you order, which means less waste and better prices. Here’s how it works.
Top quality, at an unbeatable price.
When you choose to make things in France (like our stainless steel range, for example) or select only the best materials, it comes at a price. Preordering allows us to cut out costs (like storage) and pass on the savings to you. Outstanding quality for less — a rare find in today’s market. The crossed-out price you see is what you’d pay without this system. Cheap production can seem innocuous, but you pay for it somewhere — here’s the proof.
Good things take time.
Here’s how it works. We present an item – one that’s been tweaked and tested, sometimes for years, often together with our community. We make it available to preorder for a few days on our site. Once preorder is over, we tot up all the sales and put it straight into production. Once ready, in just a few weeks, it beelines straight to your kitchen. There are several preorders a year, ranging from our classics – The Good Frying Pan, The Perfect Saucepan… some special editions, and some entirely new products. The exception that proves the rule.
We sometimes launch a stock sale. The prices are higher than at preorder, of course. The inventory’s made up of customer returns (rare, but it does happen) and a small buffer set aside for exchanges. It’s a very small inventory and it’s typically made available in the run-up to Christmas – it’s the perfect timing, after all.
