Better for your health,
but above all, better, period
Kinder to you, kinder to the planet
Unlike non-stick Teflon frying pans, stainless steel frying pans won’t release any harmful substances or microplastics into your food. They don’t contain any PFTE, PFOA, or PFOAS so cooking with them is safer for you and the environment. The chemicals used in non-stick coatings break down extremely slowly in nature. They’re called ‘forever chemicals’ for a reason.

With the right technique, stainless steel won't stick
You’ll find articles on our blog packed full of advice on how to master cooking with a stainless steel frying pan and easy tutorial videos on our YouTube channel. You’ll also receive a printed cooking guide for free with your order. In a nutshell: always preheat your pan over a medium heat for two minutes. Complete the water drop test to make sure it’s got up to heat and then add a little oil or butter, unless you’re cooking meat. And never use high heat, Atma’s 3-ply technology gets really hot so you never need it. There you go, you’re all set.

Consistent, precise cooking - every time
At Atma, we believe every home cook deserves the same quality as top chefs cooking in the best restaurants. That’s why our pans are made from 3-ply stainless steel from base to rim. Optimal heat distribution, quicker results, and pinpoint precision for mouthwatering results, every time. And yes, 3-ply stainless steel is compatible with every cooking surface - induction, gas, electric, ovens, and ceramic - and is dishwasher safe.
Lifetime guarantee
The Good Frying Pan is built to last and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Stainless steel is naturally durable and really easy to care for.
The handle is securely riveted for added strength and hollowed out to limit heat transfer for a safer, more comfortable grip.

Questions you might have
Why opt for a coating-free frying pan?
It’s no secret – we’re strong advocates for cookware free from non-stick coatings. Most chemical non-stick options contain PFAS (that’s per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, if you like your chemistry). These chemicals are seriously bad news for both your health and the environment. In fact, the European Union is considering banning them by 2026/27. To know more about the hidden risks of non-stick frying pans, head to our blog.
Do stainless steel pans stick?
With the right gestures, no!
To prevent your cooking from sticking with a stainless steel pan, it is necessary to follow these few tips / steps:
- Preheat your pan for 2 minutes over medium heat, not high heat.
- A sufficiently hot pan is one that does not stick. To check that it is at the right temperature, perform the water drop test: throw a few drops of water into your pan. If they roll and form small balls, your pan is at the right temperature.
- It is essential to add fat for all your cooking except meat. Indeed, the excellent thermal conductivity of our pans allows you to cook your meat without fat.
- Be patient: let a first layer form on your food, meat or vegetables, before trying to remove your food.
- The right pan heats up very quickly and retains heat for a long time thanks to the 3-ply stainless steel. It is therefore not necessary, even not recommended, to cook over high heat at the risk of burning / sticking your food.
The proof in pictures? We show you how to cook your food without it sticking in our tutorials right here and in our articles explaining how to cook with a stainless steel pan. We even cooked eggs for you to prove that you can do anything with stainless steel pans. You'll see that cooking food in a stainless steel pan is no rocket science.
How do I care for my stainless steel pan?
To make cleaning a breeze, use room-temperature water to deglaze your frying pan straight after using it. Never use cold water, as the thermal shock could damage your pan.
Let it soak for a few minutes, then lift away any stubborn stuck-on bits with a wooden spoon or copper wire before putting it in the dishwasher or washing it by hand.
