How to cook zucchini in a pan?

Ingredients Needed for Cooking Zucchini
To prepare your zucchini in a stainless steel frying pan, here are the ingredients you need:
-
Two large yellow or green zucchinis, depending on your preference.
-
One onion
-
One clove of garlic
-
2 tablespoons of olive oil
-
Salt and pepper, to taste.
Of course, you'll also need a large stainless steel frying pan and a wooden spoon. Now you're ready to move on to the next step of the preparation!
Steps to follow for successfully cooking zucchini in a pan
This easy and downright delicious recipe differs very little from cooking eggplant in a pan. Simply follow these steps:
1 - Wash your zucchini and remove the ends.
2 - Cut your zucchini into fairly wide pieces (into nice rounds, it's even better!)
3 - Carefully chop the garlic and onion.
4 - Heat your stainless steel pan to 2/3 of your stovetop's maximum power. Wait about two minutes, until a drop of water placed on the pan rolls like a small marble.
5 - Add the olive oil, then the chopped onions and garlic.
6 - Reduce the heat to 1/3 of its maximum power.
7 - Add your zucchini slices and grill them, turning them regularly.
8 - Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9 - Cooking time for zucchini in a pan generally doesn't exceed ten minutes. Your vegetables are ready when they become tender and nicely browned.
It's ready! You can now serve your zucchini pan with rice, fresh pasta, or any cut of meat you like.
Tips for Improving Your Pan-Fried Zucchini
If this pan-fried zucchini recipe feels like it's missing a little flavor twist, there are several options. A simple and effective way to add a touch of extra flavor is to add a dash of lemon juice and a good teaspoon of herbes de Provence (oregano, thyme, dried parsley, etc.) to your pan-fried vegetables. Also add some finely chopped fresh basil for an extra touch of freshness. A true delight, perfect with pan-fried salmon.
To add flavor to pan-fried zucchini while adding a much-appreciated touch of sweetness, you can also add a small carton of single cream to your dish. Our tip: pour your dish into a baking dish and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before baking for 15 minutes. You'll get a delicious gratin, much loved by children... and adults alike!
Those who love spicy dishes can enhance the creamy zucchini with a teaspoon of yellow curry or any other strong-flavored spice.
