Like a good frying pan, the wok is made in a French family factory that has specialized in cooking utensils for over 30 years. We chose stainless steel because, in addition to being healthy, it's an extremely durable and easy-to-maintain material that will last a lifetime. To optimize its durability, we opted for a riveted handle, which is more resistant. Its hollowed-out design also limits heat buildup, for a secure and comfortable grip.

The questions you ask yourself
Why choose a wok without a non-stick coating?
So you might say we're lacking objectivity, but we obviously advocate using cookware without non-stick coatings. Indeed, the vast majority of chemical non-stick coatings contain PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkylated), a family of chemical substances with harmful effects on health and the environment. Moreover, Europe is considering banning them from 2026/27. We explain everything in our article on the risks you expose yourself to with coated pans.
How do I maintain my stainless steel wok?
To make cleaning easier, you can deglaze your wok immediately after use with warm water to loosen the juices. Let it soak for a few minutes, then remove any lingering juices with a wooden spoon or copper scraper.
You can put the wok in the dishwasher or clean it by hand with hot water and dish soap.

Why choose 3-layer 18/10 stainless steel?

So why is it so important for us to use 3-ply 18/10 stainless steel?
Because it's an alloy that has changed the game in the kitchen and allows us to offer you high-quality woks. We use 3-ply stainless steel with a thickness of 2.3mm and composed of 3 layers:
- The inner layer is made of 18/10 stainless steel, a stainless steel that contains 18% chromium to resist oxidation and 10% nickel to ensure food-safety.
- A layer of aluminum encapsulated between the two layers of stainless steel ensures rapid and even heat distribution across the entire cooking surface. This is what will allow your wok to heat to a high temperature. Don't worry, the aluminum layer is well sealed between the two layers of stainless steel, so your food will never come into contact with aluminum.
- Finally, on the outside, there is a layer of ferritic stainless steel, which makes it compatible with induction hobs and all other heat sources.

How does the lifetime warranty on our stainless steel utensils work?
Atma warrants that its product is free from material and manufacturing defects at the time of purchase. For the lifetime warranty to be valid, you must strictly follow the instructions for use and maintenance of the product. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, overheating, or any use for non-personal purposes and/or not in accordance with the recommendations cited in the ultimate guide. It also does not cover damages such as the cost of repairing or replacing any other damaged property.
The lifetime warranty is valid only for the consumer who originally purchased the product or for any person who received the new and unused product as a gift from that consumer. It applies from the date of purchase of the product and remains valid for as long as the product is in the possession of the consumer covered by the warranty. Any defective product returned under this warranty will be replaced with the same product free of charge.
How do I claim under the warranty?
To make a claim, contact our customer service team to obtain a return merchandise authorization. You will then need to mail your Atma utensil to the address provided to you. Returns without a return authorization number will not be accepted.

Is it suitable for all heat sources? Does the handle get hot?
The wok is compatible with all hobs: gas, ceramic glass, induction, electric and even ovens and barbecues.
For your safety, we have hollowed out the handle to limit the rise in temperature.
